A three-day relaxed weekend VW Festival. With all the elements of the shows we all know and love! Quarter mile track action features Doorslammer Drag Racing, alongside Show & Shine, Traders, Fun Fair and Bar meaning you can enjoy the later evenings camping with friends!

Embark on an experience of precision and flavour with laser clay shooting and longbow archery. Enjoy a thrilling session of high-tech clay shooting and traditional longbow archery, followed by a delectable five-course dinner. Ticket is valid at The Slaughters Manor House for the listed event only. On the day of the event please bring your ticket or email with you and present to staff on arrival. Tickets can be cancelled up to 7 days before the event, after which they are non-refundable and non-transferable.

We have an action-packed line up of family drag racing entertainment with all things powerful on and off the track. Explosive track action comes in the form of nitro-burning 10,000 horsepower Funny Cars as well as the crowd thrilling side by side Jet Car shootouts! The entertainment off-track is just as spectacular with an array of stunt and exhibition demonstrations including the ever popular car-crushing Monster Trucks, dazzling family entertainment and multiple 2-wheeled mayhem!

A family friendly festival with a vibrant and fun atmosphere, bringing to life the very essence of VW and Campervan culture. Europe’s largest VW Show incorporates an eclectic mix of all things VW, with Drag Racing, Run What Ya Brung, Music, Show & Shine, Comedy, Stunt Displays, Fun Fair, massive Trade Village, Retrojumble and much more.

Held to promote seaweed for its immense health and nutritional benefits.  Quay kitchens will be serving a variety of dishes, and stalls will be selling a range of seaweed products and arts and crafts.  Plus live music, craft activities and workshops, talks and demonstrations and street entertainments.  Bring your own seaweed for advice from experts on its uses.

Join Vanessa for a garden walk when she will show you the highlights of the garden in July. This will be an informal tour with the garden owner, Vanessa who will provide you with plenty of tips on the best plants to grow to give you beautiful borders throughout the year. You will also learn how the garden is managed for wildlife and Vanessa will highlight some of the many ways she has blended stunning planting with being a wildlife-friendly garden.

The walk is included in the garden admission for the afternoon, but is on a first-come-first-served basis. There will only be 12 places, so make sure you get on the list when you arrive at the hut!

Start is at 2:00pm prompt and will last about an hour, so plenty of time afterwards for refreshments and a visit to the plant nursery.
