Bring a bag of apples, have them pressed at the Visitor Centre, taste the juice, or bring more for pasteurisation and bottling.  On entry to Clovelly, children can enjoy apple games and crafts, apple bobbing and stamping.  There’ll be a farmers market plus a fun harvest hunt with spooky stories, for which you need to pre-book your place.

The new exhibition in the Old Laboratory at RHS Garden Wisley is called ‘What is a Weed?’ Open from 24 September, it uses a range of media including artworks and animation to challenge negative stereotypes about weeds, and introduce new perspectives.

This winter, the Glasshouse at RHS Garden Wisley has been transported back to long, long ago for the new Houseplant Takeover – Plants Before Time exhibition. Step inside to discover fascinating plants such as ferns and cycads, alongside fossils, footprints and more! Open from 10am (9:30am at w/e) - 3:45pm. Included in normal garden admission.
