Lenham is a village in Kent on the edge of the North Downs and is the source of the River Great Stour. On the downs nearby is a 200 foot carved cross which is a war memorial commemorating the dead of both world wars. The Stour Valley walk starts at the village which then runs to Ashford, Canterbury and on to the channel at Sandwich.
