Overview

At Maidstone and Bentlif Art Gallery you´ll find something for everyone - outstanding collections, special exhibitions, a shop and a café. Housed in a beautiful Elizabethan manor house, highlights include: A 2,500 year old Egyptian mummy, Maidstone´s local history - from toffees to cricket balls, a journey through time when dinosaurs roamed through Kent, a fine Japanese art collection, magnificent `old master´ oil paintings and the Queen´s Own Royal West Kent Regiment museum. Run by Maidstone Borough Council, families are encouraged to join in the many craft activities on offer during the school holidays and welcome visits from school parties.
