Leeds Castle, Maidstone, Kent, ME17 1PL
Historic properties located within the Leeds Castle Estate are available as self-catering holiday cottages which provide modern facilities, whilst retaining their original charm. The holiday cottages are ideal if you’re coming to an event at the castle or just want a break away in the Kent countryside. Weir Cottage is a cosy and intimate property for two people and the Castle View is ideal for a family stay, while Keepers House can sleep up to ten people for larger parties. The Guard's House and Knight's Cottage are also newer additions to the Castle estate.
Leeds Castle also offers families and couples the chance to escape to the countryside for a glamorous camping holiday with a difference. Eight splendid striped pavilions based on a Medieval design, form a 'village' on the one-acre Castle vineyard. Enjoy the luxury of a four poster bed, warming wood burning stove, crisp cotton bedding and snug furry throws. But the real luxury is not having to bring any special camping kit with you, just food for your evening feast.
Leeds Castle Holiday Cottages also has a Bed & Breakfast, Self Catering, Attraction / Activity, Historic House, Garden, Wedding Venue and Glamping:
Leeds Castle Holiday Cottages is part of the following Inspirations:
"Once you've fallen in love with Leeds Castle, one of Britain's most famous and popular historic buildings, you needn't leave. Among the grounds, carpeted with beautiful parkland and gardens, sits five self-catering abodes that are lovingly converted former working outbuildings, now luxury apartments. Among them is the Keepers House (sleeps 2 - 10) which is tucked away overlooking the weir pond and retains period flagstone floors and beams, while Castle View (sleeps 4), whose direct access to the castle and cosy interiors allow you a privileged pass to your most esteemed neighbour."
"With 900 years of history to explore, and a fun-packed events calendar that ranges from jousting competitions to supercar sieges, Leeds Castle’s long been heralded as a majestic day out for all the family. But guess what? You don’t have to go home. From the super swish B&B rooms in the 16th century Maiden’s Tower to the five delightful self-catering cottages, accommodation here offers a stonking blend of period gorgeousness and contemporary convenience. But for a more Medieval experience, albeit minus the Crusades’ crustiness, the brand new Knight’s Glamping village takes some beating. The eight gaily-striped tents, each with four-poster, crisp cotton bedding and log burning stove, sleep a maximum of two adults and two children."
