Washingford House B&B

Cookes Road, Bergh Apton, Norwich, Norfolk, NR15 1AA

Tall octagonal chimney stacks and a Georgian façade give the house a stately air. In fact, it's the friendliest of places to stay and Paris gives you a delicious, locally sourced breakfast including plenty of fresh fruit. The house, originally Tudor, is a delightful mix of old and new. Large light-filled bedrooms have loads of good books and views over the four-acre garden, a favourite haunt for local birds. Bergh Apton is a conservation village seven miles from Norwich and you are in the heart of it; perfect for cycling, boat trips on the Norfolk Broads and the twelve Wherryman’s Way circular walks.

The Paul Nash art exhibition is currently been shown at the Sainsbury Centre (Norwich) 8th April - 20 September 2017
