Overview

Mansion House Llansteffan is situated in the green and rolling hills of West Wales, looking out across Carmarthen Bay. Set in a charming Georgian mansion, the restaurant, Moryd, has two AA rosettes to its name.

Where is Mansion House Llansteffan located?

Mansion House Llansteffan sits nestled among the pretty Welsh farms that sit between the Cambrian mountains and Carmarthen Bay. Just an hour from Swansea, and equally close to Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire, the venue is perfectly placed for exploring all that this part of Wales has to offer.

What type of food do you serve at Mansion House Llansteffan?

Food here is modern and vibrant, with the emphasis on provenance and technical skills. There's a Market Menu as well as an à la carte menu, both of which have been put together by Paul Owen, the head chef, and his kitchen team.

Does the chef at Mansion House Llansteffan have a signature dish?

The à la carte venison is a stunning dish with beetroot dauphinois. Paired with the San Perito Cabernet Sauvignon, it is a match made in heaven. In season (April-June) coracle-caught Towy sewin with Llansteffan samphire is the crowning glory of Carmartheshire produce.

What makes the dining experience unique at Mansion House Llansteffan ?

The local produce is what makes Mansion House Llansteffan's offering unique. From Dinefwr venison, Towy sewin, Hereford beef aged in the local butcher's own Himalayan rock salt chamber, foraged samphire and homegrown garden vegetables to the apples from the neighbour's orchard, you cannot beat fresh local produce for creating something unique and tasty.
