The Inn at South Stainley, is a stylish country pub with rooms. Following a six-month refurbishment, they opened August 2017, not just as an atmospheric pub and restaurant in Ripon but also with a separate function suite, making it the perfect venue for dining and socialising and also to host your event for up to 160 people.

We mix the best ingredients with great personalities and atmospheric settings to create memorable experiences. Their seafaring heritage fuses with a timeless, pub charm to bring light and fresh seafood dishes and hearty, classic meat dishes to your table. Diners and visitors can stop over for a night or two, making the most of the menu and wine list, as well as the stunning location we're lucky to be part of. We have four house rooms in the pub and another eight just outside in the Lodge, complete with gun cabinets for our shooting guests. We have the most wonderful surroundings of the great outdoors, pretty market towns and historic attractions – right on our doorstep. UNESCO World Heritage Site Fountains Abbey, Ripon Races, the Great Yorkshire Show and Harrogate itself to name but a few. The rooms blend traditional and contemporary furnishings, just like the pub, ensuring comfort and good facilities with specific dog-friendly rooms.
