Overview

Located within the grounds of the Christchurch Harbour Hotel is ‘the jetty' restaurant, bar and grill. Literally perched on the water's edge, the jetty has walls of glass to drink in the views. Designed by Baufritz architects, the restaurant building is a modern, custom-built and innovative timber build, specifically chosen for its carbon-neutral qualities. Alex Aitken, one of the South of England's most respected Michelin starred chefs, heads up the team at the jetty and the food is impeccable - with fresh fish, caught and landed daily from Mudeford Quay; seafood including local oysters, lobster and shrimps; and superb grills cooked in the jetty's charcoal oven. Eating at the jetty is all about relaxation, great food chosen from local producers and an interesting wine list – in great company
