Red Lion Bar & Bistro

Enjoying an enviable location on the edge of the Peak District National Park, the Red Lion Bar & Bistro dates back to the 17th Century and has retained much of it's original charm. The decor is a mix of traditional with flashes of the contemporary; exposed dark wooden beams and sandstone walls alongside comfy leather armchairs, soft lighting and iconic black and white photography All their food is sourced locally and the Chef's passion for delicious food means the menus and specials board constantly evolves to include exciting new seasonal dishes such as pan fried fillet of stone bass with brown shrimps and caramelised chicken sauce. A large selection of beers, local ales and wines have been carefully selected to complement the award winning food.
