The New Hall Hotel, in the Birmingham area, is an elegant and beautiful fine example of late medieval architecture. It started its life as a manor-house built in the 13th century by the Warwick Earl as a hunting lodge, and it is today it is known as the oldest listed inhabited moated house in England.
