The South Hams town of Ivebridge in Devon is on the edge of Dartmoor and is an ideal base for exploring the moor. There is good access to the moor by way of two different routes, one along the old china clay railway to Redlake in the middle of the moor, the other being the Two Moors way crosses Dartmoor and Exmoor and finishes in Lynmouth on the North devon Coast.
