Close by is Drayton Manor theme park, with plenty of great rides and attractions set within a large park with lakes. If you're brave enough, try Apocalypse, the world's first stand-up tower drop, and Shockwave, Europe's only stand-up rollercoaster. Younger ones will love the zoo and Thomas the Tank Engine rides.
