The Limes Country Lodge

I don't even know where to start. My husband and I visited several potential wedding venues prior to visiting this one and from the very beginning we fell in love. We started by asking for some more information on prices which were absolutely fantastic. We had a whole day from 12am-12pm including outside ceremony and sit down meal for 66 guests and evening hot buffet for 115 guests and it came to an incredible price. From the moment we booked we were so so looked after. Klaire helped with out every need even stupid little wedding whittles I had. She always replied within an hour or two to my emails and was only ever on the other end of the phone if we needed her. Building up to the wedding we were allowed to visit as much as we liked. The team here took control of planning the day and just contacted us for information. This showed on the actual day because it ran so smoothly! I literally had nothing to worry about. The only issue we did have was our DJ decided not to turn up. I must point out this was an external DJ we hired and was nothing to do with the limes but emma, the lady looking after us on our day took control of this situation and got us another DJ in before any of our guests had even noticed! She was nothing short of incredible! I could go on and on about this venue like how they dressed the venue themselves (with our decorations) so we didn't have too or the fact that David ensured the day went so smoothly or I could comment on how beautiful the whole place was but I would be here forever. We cannot thank you all enough! Incredible place, incredible day and incredible people. Special thanks to Emma, Klaire and David but to all else involved too. 5* treatment. Hi Klaire, I wanted to email you to say the biggest thank you for making our wedding the most perfect day. You made me feel so at ease the whole way, and answered all my trivial questions quickly and carefully. You made it all the nicer because I felt that you really cared about all the little details as much as I did! The day was perfect, (despite the rain! you can't tell from the photos :-)) The staff were outstanding, on hand all day making it all run to plan and the food was excellent - all of our guests have commented on the standard of the food and the presentation of each dish. Please give our full compliments to the chef. I have lots of photos that show the garden, marquee and breakfast room if you would like copies for promotion I would be more than happy to send you them. I am so pleased we decided to book The Limes 2 years ago, it was the best decision I have made :-) Please pass on our sincere thanks to Dan and the staff who worked on 23rd Aug, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Just wanted to say how fantastic Saturday was! Our guests loved the food the chef did an outstanding job! The day ran so smoothly all of the waiting staff were professional and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for all your organisation- the cocktails went down really well and the venue was beautiful. Everyone complimented the venue and said how relaxed the atmosphere was and what a stunning place it was too. Thank you again, Love Mr and Mrs Brighton!
