Overview

Nestled in the rural tranquillity of Buckinghamshire your wedding journey begins as you travel through the breath-taking,  tree-lined approach towards the stunning Manor House.  Built in 1911, with over a century’s worth of memories,  you will find a Manor House full of lavish character. Sweeping staircases, stone fireplaces, chandeliers and beautiful bay lead light windows.

Horwood House has been lovingly restored over the past 2 years with a £6 million refurbishment across all restaurants, bedrooms, event spaces and most recently the beautiful Manor House ground floor.

What makes Horwood House a unique wedding venue?

The newly refurbished Wedding Ceremony Room is brimming with grand features and has been delicately refreshed to provide a neutral ethereal space for the exchanging of vows.  High ceilings with magnificent detailing, an impressive stone fireplace and a stunning bay window present a light and airy stage. Subtly glistening wall coverings and soft botanical prints finish off this calm and romantic room.

The Ceremony Room leads directly to the Manor Bar and paneled seating area, ideal for winter wedding reception drinks, whilst original stone steps lay way to an abundance of gardens and of course the lily pond for those spring or summer affairs. As well as the stunning grounds and original features of the Manor, the expert wedding co-ordintors and experienced operations team are there throughout your experience to make sure your event is unique as you and your partner. As your wedding team, they will be on hand to assist with all aspects of the planning and preparation offering an experienced and personalised service.

What is a typical wedding like at Horwood House?

Magical. As well as creating your ideal day, Horwood House weddings typically create memories to last for anniversaries. Providing care and attention even after your wedding day is complete. Unlike some purpose built venues and specific wedding venues, Horwood House Hotel is available for you to enjoy for years to come, celebrating your marriage milestones as well as your life milestones.

What Wedding Packages does Horwood House offer?

The Classical Package includes: a classic double room for the night prior to the wedding, Room hire for your wedding breakfast and evening reception, reception drinks, three course wedding breakfast, half bottle of wine per person, a glass of sparkling wine per person, evening buffet, dance floor, cake stand and knife, dedicated wedding team and executive room the night of the wedding.

Packages can include small intimate weddings, last minute availability, large wedding celebrations and upgrades to Manor suites.

What Extra facilities does Horwood House have to assist couples to have the perfect day?

Horwood House only hosts one wedding per day so you can be assured that your wedding will get the attention it deserves. H Spa is available for the bridal party and guests prior and after the wedding for pampering packages, treatments and relaxation. The 38 acres of grounds play host to many weddings a year at the white pavilion if an al fresco ceremony is what you are looking for.

Where is Horwood House located?

Horwood House is located in Little Horwood, just south west of the city of Milton Keynes just 11 miles away and a 25 minute car journey. Nestled in the Buckinghamshire countryside, surrounded by beautiful farm land and gardens, it is an idyllic spot for a magical wedding day.
