Ardoe House Hotel and Spa is a majestic 19th century baronial estate nestled on 30 acres of spectacular grounds, just 3 miles from Aberdeen City Centre. With unique pointed turrets, the original mansion was designed with several design aspects influenced by Balmoral Castle.
Ardoe House still have historic wood carvings, mosaic floors, and stained glass with the Ogston Family Coat of Arms. Who were the original occupants. The son of Aberdeen soap merchant – Alexander “Soapy” Ogston – built the house in 1878. It remained a family home until 1947 when it was converted to a hotel.
