Situated in the grounds of the owners small holding, the cottage is ideally located just a mile from the centre of historic Much Wenlock. It offers guests complete seclusion combined with stunning views of the Wrekin and the outstanding beauty of the Shropshire countryside.
The 4-star self-catering holiday cottage provides a high degree of comfort to relax and unwind in. There is a well-equipped kitchen with everything guests need, a walk-in shower room and a high vaulted sitting room with a wood burner and fantastic views over the hills. Guests also have the added bonus of two private patios to relax on and take in the stunning Shropshire sunsets. Walking into Much Wenlock only takes 15/20 minutes and there are a few scenic routes if guests prefer.
Much Wenlock is the birthplace of the modern Olympic Games who's founding father was Dr.William Penny Brookes, Much Wenlock is steeped in history boasting amongst other things its own abbey dating back to AD 680. It has some fine eating and drinking places as well as the award-winning butcher Paddy Ryan. His pies are highly recommended. Much Wenlock also has many wonderful local walks for you to work off your meal afterwards!
