This stone built cottage is situated a mile from the centre of Much Wenlock in the grounds of the owners small holding. It offers guests seclusion combined with stunning views of the Wrekin and the outstanding beauty of the Shropshire countryside.

The Woodshed is a tastefully designed one bedroomed conversion provides a high degree of comfort to relax and unwind in peaceful surroundings. Our 4 star self-catering holiday cottage is situated just on the outskirts of the small country town of Much Wenlock, Shropshire (birthplace of the modern Olympic Games).

Much Wenlock is the birthplace of the modern Olympic Games who's founding father was Dr.William Penny Brookes, Much Wenlock is steeped in history boasting amongst other things its own abbey dating back to AD 680. It sports some fine eating and drinking places as well as an award winning butcher. Much Wenlock also has many local walks for you to work off your meal afterwards!
