Set in 15 acres of award-winning landscaped gardens, meadows and woodland, Pointers is a luxuriously appointed farmhouse and smallholding. Located in quiet countryside, overlooking the charming village of Wistow, this guest house offers pleasant views across many miles of surrounding farmland. Peace, tranquility and stunning sunsets compliment an enjoyable stay that awaits you.
Pointers is within walking distance of Wistow, a traditional old English village situated just 6 miles north of Huntingdon, in the very heart of Oliver Cromwell Country. Cambridge, Peterborough and Ely are a mere 20 minutes away by car and central London is only 40 minutes away by main line train from Huntingdon. A park and ride guided bus runs frequently through scenic countryside from nearby St. Ives right into the centre of Cambridge, which makes visiting this beautiful university town very easy indeed.
Ideally situated in the gateway to East Anglia, Pointers provides the perfect base for exploring the many historic attractions within the area or a welcome stop for those travelling from the ports of Felixstowe, Harwich and Dover on their way to the north of England and Scotland. We are situated on the edge of the Great Fen – a wildlife development of international importance. Other local attractions include; the RSPB reserves to be found at Paxton Pits, Pearls Bridge and elsewhere in the area; the Raptor Centre at nearby St. Ives; the Ramsey Rural Museum; Houghton Water Mill; Angelsey Abbey; Kimbolton Castle; the Nene Valley Steam Railway; Huntingdon Racecourse; Duxford Imperial War Museum; Wimpole Hall; Newmarket and the Horse Racing Museum - there really is something for everyone.
