Overview

Relax and rejuvenate or get into shape in the Barony Castle Leisure Facilities including a 10 metre pool with whirlpool bath, thermal experience showers, sauna, heated loungers, relaxation room and two beauty treatment rooms. More information on specific beauty treatments on offer can be found on the website. The gym offers a good range of Technogym equipment. Lockers and changing rooms are available. Use of the Leisure Facilities is complimentary for hotel residents. Non-residents can use the facilities for a fee. Non-residential guests can use our leisure facilities at £7.50 per day per adult ( children under the age of 5 years go free, £5.00 for children from 5- 12 years) or £17.50 per day per adult to include slippers, bathrobes and towels. For Health and Safety reasons the sauna and gym are not to be used by children under the age of 16. Enjoy the peace and quiet at Barony Castle and relax with the spa treatments on offer. Priadara Professional is derived by science but approved by nature. Every product contains two or more essential oils. When blended together certain essential oils have a mutually enhancing effect on each other thus increasing the overall effects on the skin.

By Car From the North, depart A720 Edinburgh City bypass at the Lothianburn junction and follow signs to Peebles on the A703. On reaching Eddleston Village take 1st right at the Horseshoe Inn (signposted Lyne via Meldons). Follow this road for approximately 200 metres. The entrance to Barony Castle is on your right. From the South West, follow the M74 and exit at Moffat and follow the A701 to Edinburgh. Take the first junction you see (40 miles) signposted for Peebles and follow this road until reaching Peebles. Upon reaching Peebles follow the A703 signposted for Edinburgh and follow this road until reaching Eddleston Village. Take 2nd left at the Horseshoe Inn (signposted Lyne via Meldons). Follow this road for approximately 200 metres. The entrance to Barony Castle is on your right. From the South East, Follow the A1 north to Newcastle Then follow the A696 signposted for Newcastle Airport. Turn onto A68 signposted for Jedburgh. From Jedburgh follow A68 to Galashiels then A72 to Peebles please see directions above. By Rail The nearest main line stations are Gorebridge or Galashiels (Borders Railway) or Edinburgh Waverley. A Taxi to Eddleston from Waverley station is a 45 minute journey, Gorebridge and Galashiels are a 30 minute drive away from the castle. By Air The nearest airport is Edinburgh International. Taxi to Eddleston is a 45 minute journey.
