The Lazy Fish was recommended to us via some friends. We were not disappointed. We were greeted to the barn with a roaring fire. The personal touches, hamper and brownies was a lovely surprise too! We have used this week to recharge our batteries, the bed enabled us to have a good nights sleep, the bath was amazing too. The barn is pure luxury and Rachel was the perfect host, very friendly. We can't wait until we come back! JohnC

Stayed at the lazy fish for 3 nights with our children who loved it. It was so luxurious with the hot tub, massive log burner, underfloor heating and CD player with surround sound. We were so excited to receive goodies in a hamper along with other little extras. A great place to spend quality time with family! TraceyJ

Leave the M6 at junction 40 and follow the A66 west towards Workington and Keswick. After approximately 35 – 40 minutes (9 miles after Keswick) look for a sign saying Lorton Buttermere and take this left. Up a short hill you will reach a t-junction. Turn left signposted Wythop Mill. After a few hundred metres you will see St Cuthbert's Church on your left and a private lane opposite. Turn right up this lane and Brook House is the first house on the left. Just over the bridge is a parking area for The Lazy Fish.
