Teignmouth is a bustling seaside town and harbour in South Devon with a pier and two beaches and has been a popular holiday resort for many years. The river estuary has waterside pubs and fishing boats. The town has a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants, many in a pedestrianised area. There is plenty of accommodation in Teignmouth from good quality hotels, B&B's to self catering apartments, as well as camping and caravan parks. Across the River Teign is a short ferry ride to the pretty village of Shaldon which also has a good range of shops.
