The small village of Lode is a quiet and photogenic little place. Situated on a single road north of the B1102, the main road from Cambridge to Burwell. To the west of the village you will find the National Trust property, Anglesey Abbey, a beautiful house and grounds to explore. The house is full of Victorian bric-a-brac and to the north of the estate there is a working mill.
