The ancient market town of Evesham dates back to at least the 8th century. There are a wealth of historic buildings perhaps one of the more notable ones being the Almonry, dating back to 1400, which is now home to the Tourist information Office and a fine Museum displaying exhibits relating to the social and economic life of the area.
