Redruth is a busy town in Cornwall which was once in the tin mining area. Today it has a wide variety of shops, a covered market and street landscaping with wooden seating granite furniture and cast bronze dogs made by a local sculptor. The town has good road and rail transports links to nearby towns and is on the main line to Paddington.
