A welcome package is available on request, complete with milk, tea, sugar, bread, butter and jam in case you would like some tea and toast on arrival. In the village, there is a Co-op and Hutchinson's supermarket. Recommended for a more thorough shop, Booths in Windermere is close by, a larger, higher quality supermarket and the lovely Lucy's of Ambleside deli for something special.
