Another wonderful week with the family at Millsyde. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and at home. Sue's Rock Buns and tea welcome always a treat! Everything was immaculate and we saw deer in the field and hares whilst strolling up the lane. Thanks Sue, we can't wait to return next Easter!!

An absolutely beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings. The cottage is finished to a very high standard and is faultless.
We stayed with two of our grandchildren who absolutely loved the cottage and the gardens which are lovely.
It is a great base for exploring the Borders region and a very relaxing place after a hard days walk.
The owner was very attentive and the welcome pack she left was excellent (especially the gorgeous rock cakes!), a truly 5* experience all round.

First class accommodation, perfect venue not far from Kelso. All the amenities you could hope for and a proper home for home. Lovely and bright and clean. Bedding was lovely and comfortable. Quiet and rural.

We stayed as a family of two adults couples. Absolutely fantastic, a real home away from home, decorated to an excellent standard. Everything you could possibly need for a week is in the house, in fact the house had everything and a little bit more! The layout of the house is perfect, so spacious and lots of excellent reception areas for the family to be together. We really couldn't find a single fault with this house! The location is perfect for exploring the Borders, we were fishing a nearby beat on the Tweed and were fortunate to catch 2 spring salmon and 17 kelts between us - we put our success down to the relaxing evenings at the house setting us up for the day!

A truly idyllic country retreat with every possible comfort imaginable! Even the twice daily visits from the Woodpecker reflected peace and contentment. Thank you so much for this very welcome break.

I have stayed ion numerous self-catering properties, but I have never stayed in such a clean welcoming home as Millsyde.
Everything was thought about by Sue, from the welcome pack, wine, rock buns, fruit, but also for our wee dog Worster.
A truly lovely week in a beautiful part of Scotland.
It will be a very hard quest to find a place as good.
Thanks Sue, for the attention to detail in making our week so memorable.

Our week's stay at Millsyde Cottage was the best we have ever had, and we have stayed in dozens of cottages throughout Scotland over the last fifteen years or so. Large, airy, comfortable, clean, exceedingly well-equipped and appointed, we couldn't have wished for better. Sue was a wonderful host, for whom nothing was too much trouble to make our stay memorable. The welcome gifts were to die for! We will be booking again shortly for two separate weeks for next year…..

I cannot praise Millsyde highly enough. We entertained our friends there, and the quality of the accommodation and the thought and care that went in to making this a real 'home from home' was quite outstanding. I am only concerned that when word gets out and everyone books and rebooks - we may struggle for regular slots! A big thank you to Sue, who couldn't have been more helpful.

Millsyde still has the wow factor, it is beautifully decorated and so well equipped. It really does have everything you could need and the most comfortable beds. We made the most of all the extras including the eggs that had been left (including chocolate eggs) and the cards and board games. Having level access and all accommodation on one level meant Millsyde has been perfect for my partner in his wheelchair. There was plenty of room to get round the house, in the bedrooms and en-suite which makes life so nice and easy.

wonderfully equipped kitchen, huge stack of games for a rainy day. I am incredibly fussy about beds and pillows and Sue has got it right as they were perfect and so comfortable. We certainly look forward to returning in the future. A true home from home.

You have to see Millsyde to believe it. The online photographs show you a high standard, but what they don't capture is how beautiful each of the rooms are......the attention to detail ...... and the thought put in by the owner, so your every whim is satisfied.
