Lundin Farmhouse is a stunning Victorian house with a contemporary touch, set within a working farm and sporting estate. It is located about 2 miles from Aberfeldy and offers breathtaking views of Ben Lawers and the surrounding hills and farmland. There is an abundance of wildlife and birds around the property and you can see swans and ducks on the lochan, deer, hare, foxes and red squirrels to name just a few.

As well as trout fishing, the private lochan can be used for wild swimming. Fly casting lessons can be arranged (must be booked in advance) for those wishing to learn the relaxing art of fly fishing for trout. Equipment can be provided.
What is the capacity for Lundin Farmhouse?
Sleeping ten, the property has four en-suite bedrooms and a fifth bedroom with its own shower room and WC. The living space is breathtaking, and the main room is open plan, with a huge dining kitchen, formal dining area, vaulted roundel ceiling, and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, plus a lounge area with comfortable sofas and a wood burner. There is also a large cinema and games room (pool/billiards table, card table and board games) with another log burner, an extensive entry hall and a laundry room. They also welcome up to 4 dogs.
Rarely will you find such a well equipped kitchen in a holiday rental property. Even their private chefs from Ballintaggart love to cook at Lundin Farmhouse!
Can you suggest any activities or things to do while staying in the Aberfeldy area?
The village offers some excellent gift stores as well as The Watermill, an award-winning bookshop. There are also other activities available, including a local leisure centre with a swimming pool, a golf course, and Birks Cinema, to mention a few. Highland Safaris, a short drive from Aberfeldy, as well as having a fantastic cafe, offer Land rover safari tours of the hills and boat tours of Loch Tay! There are also several opportunities to get out in nature with excellent walking trails in every direction or rafting/paddle boarding/canyoning adventures with the great Unique Adventure Tours Scotland, Beyond Adventure and The Canyonning Company
Where can guests enjoy food and drink?
There are several cafés, pubs, and restaurants in nearby Aberfeldy that will cater to various tastes. Or why not have a private chef come from Ballintaggart and cook for you or have wonderful homemade ready meals made to order and delivered to the house. Picnics can be delivered for you to take on days out exploring (or just to enjoy whilst you fish on the lochan). You can even arrange for a chef to come and BBQ by the lochan for you, making use of the unique fishing hut with its roof top dining area.

There is a river side walk from the house to Aberfeldy which takes about 30 minutes.
