The luxury self-catering accommodation has been converted with sensitivity and style from original farm buildings. Golly Farm Cottages are single storey and have quality fittings throughout.

What makes a stay at Golly Farm Cottages unique?

A pretty rural location with walks straight from the door, and good views from the cottages and patio area, make it hard to believe that facilities are so easily accessed within a short drive or cycle. A secure bike rack (holding up to six bikes) and storage area is available for guests' cycles. On arrival, guests will receive some welcome supplies, including a homemade cake and fresh milk.

What is the capacity for Golly Farm Cottages?

Golly Cottage is a secluded detached property with one large bedroom and a sofa bed in the sitting room. Oak and Holly Cottage are attached, with one bed room and a sofa bed in the living area. The studio apartment has a king-sized bed and sofa bed within its living space. Each cottage sleeps up to four.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Rossett area?

The Cathedral city of Chester, with its Roman walls is close by, as are Chester Races. The River Dee, for boat trips, is only a few minutes drive from Golly Farm. Llangollen, Bala lake and the coast are within an hour's drive, with Anglesey, Portmeirion and Blaenau Ffestiniog around an hour and a half. Golly Farm Cottages are perfect for exploring or just relaxing.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

The village of Rossett is 3 miles away from Golly, providing good pubs, restaurants and a shop. Within a 15 minute drive is a large range of facilities and an excellent selection of high quality restaurants to choose from. Information and post codes are included in the guest information pack in each cottage.

Other Information

The cottages have king-sized beds with Egyptian cotton bed linen. Towels and bathrobes are provided. The kitchen is well-equipped, including a full-size dishwasher and freezer (no freezer in The Studio). The patio seating is well-positioned to enjoy the surroundings and view. Well-behaved dogs are welcomed, but must not be left alone in the cottages. Golly Farm has a strict no-smoking policy.
