Glencairn House sleeps up to eight guests in five bedrooms. The first of the five bedrooms are located on the lower ground floor, featuring a generous king-size bed, luxurious feather bedding and an en-suite bathroom with a statement free-standing bath. Up the stairs to the ground floor level there is a further bedroom with 4'6 double bed and en-suite shower room. The mezzanine floor is accessed through bedroom three with a double bed on the first floor. Up to the second and final floor are two further bedrooms. The first of these has a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, the second bedroom has a small double bed and shares the family bathroom with bedroom three on the first floor.

The Meare is within walking distance of the house, and here you may rent a boat to explore the Pirate's lair, Wendy's home, and Captain's house, to mention a few. Guests can also rent kayaks, dinghies, and canoes. Golfers will be keen to take to the 18-hole championship course, which is widely considered as one of the best heathland courses in the UK. A swim in the sea is always a must on hot days, and Thorpeness boasts a lovely shingle beach. Aldeburgh, a popular seaside town, is located along the coast. The town is home to a thriving art and music scene, as well as a lively high street lined with independent stores, cafes, and restaurants. If you can pull yourself away from the stunning Suffolk coast, there's plenty more to see, from the imposing castles of Framlingham and Orford to the mediaeval towns of the wool trade like Lavenham and Long Melford.
