This attractive holiday cottage dates back to the 1800s and has the most wonderful views of Glen Lyon, one of the most beautiful glens in Scotland. The area around the cottage is particularly enchanting and includes dramatic hills, open fields, mature trees and the River Lyon. It is a perfect base from which to enjoy the surrounding countryside and attractions.
What makes a stay at Gardener's Cottage unique?
Gardener's cottage, on South Chesthill Estate, offers six miles of river and 7,000 acres for exploring. Deer and other wildlife can often be seen in the field in front of the cottage. It is let on a fully furnished basis including all linen and towels. Electricity, fuel, basic Sky channels, and wifi are included in the cost. Ainster, the estate Keeper, may be able to offer you outdoor activities, such as nature tours, fishing trips and clay pigeon shooting, subject to availability (for more info please see Estate Activities on the website). Newspapers and milk can be arranged to be delivered during the week, with payment to be made directly to the suppliers.
