Forest Holidays is 'Good to Go'. The team has developed a unique CleanAssure+ seal system and social distancing measures have been applied.

With 3,300 acres of forest to explore from your cabin doorstep, the outside world falls away as soon as you arrive. The legend of Robin Hood pervades this Nottinghamshire forest and adds flavour to the forest adventure that awaits.

The cabins at Sherwood Forest are dotted among the tall pine trees, blending harmoniously into the forest landscape. Whichever cabin you choose, you will be rewarded with peaceful woodland views.

Currently on our last evening of a 4 night mid week stay and it's been fantastic. Here with hubby, 3 sons & a bouncing boxer dog & we haven't stopped all week. If you visit the visitor centre of sherwood pines that is a 10 minute walk up behind the retreat & across the carpark (or as we discovered there's a very quick short cut up the side of cabin 47 if you are on that side of the site) you will find maps showing all walks & trials to follow, bike hire, go ape, segway hire & various parks. We've enjoyed full filled days followed by evening of...

We stayed in the hideaway cabin for Easter weekend, our second forest holiday. When we arrived at the cabin we were greeted with the biggest Easter egg ever! After walking around we found more small touches such as champagne and a chocolate fountain with marshmallows and chocolate included. The little touches were never ending which made it that little bit more perfect. The lay out of the cabin in very cute perfect for a couples getaway. The bath tub is more like a kids pool it was HUGE! The whole experience was very romantic and there are no f...

We absolutely loved our time in our 'golden oak' cabin. It was clean, quiet and peaceful. We were surrounded by nature and had a gorgeous crackling open fire and a decedent hot tub. What more could you want? We will be booking to come again. Faultless! On a side note, we went into Edwinstowe as we felt we should, small quaint village, not a lot to see/do though.
