Court Barn

Self Catering

This one-of-a-kind rustic barn has been converted and is located in a magnificent Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Court Barn, which has been tastefully decorated, is full of charm and character. It offers a welcoming and distinct atmosphere — what better place to unwind after a day of discovering everything that this lovely area has to offer? In the winter, curl up in front of the massive stone fireplace or relax in the beautiful grounds. A beautiful rose-covered terrace and planted garden with an astro-turf tennis court can be found outside. Guests may use the tennis court with permission from the owner, and are urged to take advantage of the beautiful neighbouring treks, bicycle paths, and golf courses.

What is the capacity for Court Barn?

Court Barn sleeps up to six in two double bedrooms plus a twin room, located on the cleverly adapted first floor mezzanine. The addition of this twin room, overlooking the main living area, makes Court Barn perfect for four and flexible enough for six.

Court Barn sits adjacent to another fabulous converted barn, Rose Barn, sleeping four guests. Should you be interested in a taking both barns for a larger party/family occasion, please have a look at the listing for Rose and Court Barn.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Stoke by Nayland area?

Court Barn is located in Dedham Vale, which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are several pathways and walking routes that can be used to better explore the area. If Court Barn's activities aren't enough, the Stoke By Nayland Golf Club provides two championship courses. If you have children in your party, a trip to Colchester Zoo is sure to excite them. The zoo is home to many uncommon breeds and is active in programmes to safeguard their survival in the wild. Kentwell Hall, a Tudor house located outside of Long Melford, hosts historical re-enactments in the Hall, as well as large grounds and a rare breed farm.
