Review of Chesthill House

We had the most wonderful week at South Chesthill with our family. The estate is absolutely beautiful and is located in a quiet, stunning, idyllic setting. We loved that it was far off the beaten path and enjoyed walking and exploring and never seeing another soul besides our family. We did a lot of fishing and were able to visit all of the beautiful fishing holes the estate has to offer. My husband even caught a salmon on his birthday! Highly recommend a visit to the Hill loch….heaven on earth and makes for a really special day. The estate, activities and staff exceeded our expectations on every level. It was a true escape for us and offered our family the opportunity to get away from the heat and hustle & bustle of our life in Texas. We can’t wait to go back next year!

Three generations of my family from 11 years to 75 years had a wonderful New Year stay at the ‘big house’. The setting is wonderful and the house suited us perfectly. Kay and Hamish were excellent in looking after us.

Fantastic holiday with family and friends, and felt like we were staying in someone’s home. Beautiful countryside, plenty to see and do on the hill, by the river or in the house.
