Boconnoc is steeped in fascinating history. Since the days of the Domesday Book, people have inhabited this beautiful part of Cornwall. The estate was bought with the proceeds of the famous Pitt Diamond in 1717, and has been home to three Prime Ministers.
Boconnoc boasts stunning Georgian architecture, an on site church, miles and miles of walking, running and cycling tracks, and is a truly magical place to escape and relax.
Boconnoc's ambitious refurbishment was started in 2000 by Anthony and Elizabeth Fortescue. 12 years on, the house has a magnificent, welcoming, contemporary feel.

Boconnoc is able to provide a private chef on request, and prides itself on the use of local, home grown produce - much of which is grown in the estate's own kitchen garden. There are also plenty of fantastic restaurants to choose from just a short drive away.
