Excellent food and great service. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal there tonight. The menu has a good variety of interesting food for vegans and carnivores alike! Overlooking the likes of skate wing, pork loin and vegan Wellington, I went for the burger with cheese and a "bacon jam", which was one of the tastiest burgers I have ever had. Superb. Nice to enjoy a reasonably priced flight of wines too, and the service was friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. Certainly recommended.

New management since Nov 2020. We had the 12 hour slow cooked beef sunday lunch, superbly done and good service. Good example of a restarant that keeps to a sensible number of items on the menu but does them all very well. Great atmosphere but I'd make background music a little more sophisticated :)

Excellent menu options, good food quality and friendly staff. Went there for a Sunday lunch and tried soup, ceaser salad and fish of the day; which was Salmon. All were excellent. I liked that you can book in advance through open table website.

Just had an amazing dinner, the Falcon fishcake was delicious. The orange juice and lemonade was very good, with bits in juice and fresh orange slices. Fantastic staff. And the village setting is beautiful

Fantastic roast for a birthday. The staff were great and attentive, and we had a wonderful time. It helps they are situated in Painswick a most beautiful village. A perfect day. Thanks everyone.

Eaten at the Falcon a few times in the past. But this was the best dining experience, one of the best burgers I have ever had. Good rooms, great location
