The Black Horse is a Grade-II listed property dating back to the 17th Century when it was a smugglers inn.
It has now been lovingly restored to its former glory, with a stunning Bar and parquet flooring, fabulous pewter bar, double sided wood burner, cosy nooks and deep sofas perfect for a quick pint, delicious supper or a lively catch-up with friends.
A stunning oak frame extension, filled with light and height overlooking the fields, called The Ryebank, offers full flavour menus, inspired by the seasons, bursting with traditional pub grub favourites and local ingredients.
The Pub also houses seven unique and individually designed bedrooms - renovated with fresh new bathrooms, beautiful wallpapers inspired by nature, and designed by a local neighbour, the rooms are filled with locally sourced antique furniture.
