What makes a meal at The Rose & Crown unique?
Only serve the good stuff. Meat is British and of the highest quality, from Aubrey Allen. This eighty year-old Warwickshire butcher supplies many of Britain's finest restaurants as well as holding HM The Queen's Royal Warrant.Steaks are from Britain's finest (increasingly rare) beef herds, 28-day dry-aged for stupendous flavour. Cotswold White chickens are free-range, as are eggs, pork and ice-cream. Our lamb is Cornish. The fish is native where possible, and they follow the ever-changing advice on sustainability. The head chef and his skilled brigade devise seasonal menus and a range of tempting daily specials (check out the blackboards around the pub!)
As well as serving the full menu at lunch and dinner, they have hot fresh food available throughout the day. Starting with eggs and fresh sourdough bread for breakfast, accompanied by quality Union coffee made by their barista-trained team, they also serve cakes and a range of sandwiches and light hot dishes whenever you need them.
The don't have a children's menu, because they think they should have the opportunity to eat food that's as good as yours, but the chefs are happy to make smaller portions or simplified versions of anything on the menu.
