Overview

Janet Simpson and her mother established Gibbon Bridge in 1982, by converting the family farm into a restaurant with rooms. Over the years, it has grown into a four star country hotel with 30 bedrooms, award-winning gardens and a fabulous restaurant sourcing local produce from its own gardens and local suppliers.

Where is The Gibbon Bridge Hotel located?

Gibbon Bridge is situated in the heart of the Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland. It is surrounded by rolling fells and beautiful countryside, which is ideal for walking and cycling.

What cuisine is on offer at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel?

The menu at Gibbon Bridge is predominantly British with a modern twist. Food is cooked to order and produce is sourced from the hotel's own gardens and local suppliers. The wine list is supplied by Tanners.

What is the signature dish at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel?

Janet's signature dish is traditional Crispy Roast Goosnargh duck which has been supplied by Johnson & Swarbrick since 1986.

What makes a meal at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel unique?

It's the little things that shine through here - an elegant dining room with table linen, personal service and fabulous views of the garden and fell, with a meal cooked especially to order from local and home grown ingredients.

Reviews

This is a jewel of a hotel and restaurant with it's own magnificent secluded gardens set in an area of outstanding beauty. The staff and ever present owner Janet Simpson lavished such care and attention that we felt like VIPs! We have no hesitation in submitting this 5 star rating and recommendation!
