Directions By Car From London the journey can take 4-5 hours. Parking Due to our central location we do not have on-site parking. However, there is plenty of free on-street parking around the area, free parking along the promenade (a 5-minute walk) and a car park at the bottom of the road (a 3-minute walk) for around £5.60 for 24 hours. We advise guests to drive down Chapel Street and stop outside of Artist Residence (you are allowed to park for 30 minutes) so we can help you to unload your luggage. By Train – Penzance Rail Station is a 5-10 minute walk. If you have heavy bags please note that the walk is up a hill. Alternatively, a taxi will cost under £5. For taxis we recommend calling R Cars in advance of your arrival: 01736 362 222 – Daytime services to Penzance from London Paddington usually take 5 hours – The Night Riviera sleeper offers single or twin cabins, departing London Paddington at 23.45 for arrival in Penzance at 8.00am.
