1919 is a two AA Rosette award-winning restaurant named after the year The Cottage in the Wood started its commercial life as tea rooms. With panoramic Cotswolds views and fantastic flavours 1919 is the destination restaurant in Malvern.

Traveling by car approach from the NORTHERN end of Holywell Road as indicated on the map above. Parking is available in the grounds of  The Cottage in the Wood.

Directions from London:

Follow M4 to Swindon. Take exit 15 from M4.  Keep right to continue on M4, follow signs for Airport /The West. Heathrow / Staines. Hounslow.  At junction 15, take the A346/A419 exit to Marlborough / Swindon.  Get on M5 in Gloucestershire from A419 and A417 At Badbury Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Marlborough Rd / A419 Keep right to continue on A417.  At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A417 At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on A417. Use the left lane to merge onto M5 via the slip road to The Midlands Continue heading north on M5; follow directions ‘From the South'

Head south on M5, at Junction 7, take the A44 exit to Worcester (S) At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Whittington Rd. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Crookbarrow Way / A4440. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Broomhall Way / A4440.  At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Temeside Way / A4440 At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Malvern Rd / A449.  Slight right; stay on Malvern Rd / A449 At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Worcester Rd / A449 Keep right; continue on Wells Rd/A449. Head north on M5, at Junction 8, take the M50 exit to Ross/S. Wales At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto M50 heading to South Wales/Ross At Junction 1, take the A38 exit to Malvern, continue onto A38 At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit and stay on A38.  At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A38.
