Where is Hotel Endsleigh located?
The restaurant is located in the original dining room of Hotel Endsleigh, featuring beautiful wood panelling and the crests of the Duke of Bedford's friends. This fairytale hotel is located in the Tamar Valley on the border between Devon and Cornwall, it is the country cousin of the seaside Tresanton in Cornwall and The Star (soon to debut) in Alfriston.
Does the chef at Hotel Endsleigh have a signature dish?
Starters range from a very classic red mullet soup, with crouton and saffron rouille to a more adventurous creation of pan-fried John Dory, pear puree, pickled vegetables and trompette noir mushrooms. The main course of Barbary duck breast served with root vegetable terrine, candied kumquats, red cabbage and baby beetroot is a clever modern twist on a duck a l'orange while fillet of pork, with crispy belly, pommes Anna and red cabbage is more straightforward but no less enticing.
What type of food do you serve at Hotel Endsleigh?
