Overview

Two hundred acres of parkland, views of Snowdonia – what's not to love about this handsome 17th century country house? Crystal chandeliers and open fireplaces give the dining rooms that overlook the gardens a touch of grandeur. There's homemade scones for afternoon tea and roast sirloin of Welsh Black beef for Sunday “luncheon”, but the main event here is dinner.

Where is Bodysgallen Hall Hotel, Restaurant & Spa located?

Bodysgallen is situated on Pydew Mountain, in more than 200 acres of wooded parkland with lovely formal gardens overlooking Conwy castle and Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri (Snowdonia Natioal Park).

What type of food do you serve at Bodysgallen Hall Hotel, Restaurant & Spa?

Bodysgallen Hall is renowned for its quality hospitality, exquisite food, tradition and style, just as you would expect from a house with such a long and distinguished history. Head Chef Abdalla El Shershaby and Head Gardener Robert Owen work closely to ensure the freshest seasonal produce is available.

The regularly changing menu of local, seasonal produce might begin with home-smoked quail with tomato jelly or seared sea scallops with golden raisin puree and cauliflower cream. Main courses might include an unusual cannelloni of rabbit with Cabernet Sauvignon dressing, but Head Chef Abdalla El Shershaby, is just as happy to serve a grilled fillet steak on request.

What makes the dining experience unique at Bodysgallen Hall Hotel, Restaurant & Spa ?

Awarded 3 AA Rosettes, you can expect a gourmet experience of traditional hospitality in the 17th century dining room under the expert supervision of Head Chef Abdalla El Shershaby and his team.
