This converted hunting lodge on the banks of the Broadwater Lake in 543 acres of ancient parkland on the Brocket Hall Estate makes a romantic setting for acclaimed and talented young chef Marcus McGuinness dazzlingly modern and beautifully presented dishes. Set over four floors, Auberge du Lac includes a comfortable lounge, four private dining rooms, lakeside terrace overlooking Brocket Hall itself as well as the elegant main dining room where you can enjoy the likes of foie gras parfait with roast and pickled peach, szechuan granola and thyme brioche followed by plaice with cauliflower, crab and sea vegetables. Oenophiles will delight in the 750 bin wine cellar that's home to the Sommelier's Table where private wine and Champagne tastings take place.
