Welcome to the Mortimer Arms, a family run Country Inn ideally located on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire. Formally the Victorian home of a Dowager, it has been sympathetically extended to include bar, restaurant, 14 guest rooms and a function room.

We offer you the perfect venue, albeit for a drink, lunchtime snack, dinner, party, conference or a short break.

Its central location is ideal for exploring the New Forest with its spectacular scenery and abundance of wild life where ponies, cattle, pigs and deer are free to roam. Nearby are the Cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester and the quaint market town of Romsey. The nearby shopping centre of Southampton, the market town of Lymington and the blue flag beaches of Bournemouth offer access to the world famous sailing waters of the Solent.

The Mortimer Arms is the perfect spot for families with the award winning Paulton's Park and Peppa Pig World literally right on our doorstep there is no better place to stay than with us. You can literally walk to the park entrance in just 10minutes down the beautiful tree lined drive, then wander back to us for a delicious meal after a busy day.
