All of the bedrooms are elegant and homely with top-notch amenities. Whichever you choose will be a dreamy escape in the heart of Hampshire, but if you have specific preferences, you might want to choose one of the following room types:

The ground-floor rooms feature wooden flooring and offer a bath with shower and a private terrace with a bistro set that can be accessed through French doors. First-floor rooms are carpeted and feature double showers. All of the beds have super king or single mattresses and toppers, giving you the most comfortable night's sleep.

Fishing on the test; Romsey sits on the banks of the sleepy River Test. The Test is a 39-mile chalk stream known across the globe for its excellent fishing opportunities between May and October. Trout is the star of the show, especially brown trout, but you can fish for rainbow trout, blue trout, and grayling on the Test, too.

Many of the ingredients in the pubs dishes are sourced from the fantastic businesses in the local area.Chalk Stream Foods sources its English trout from the River Test and the River Itchen. The trout used is from Chalk Stream Foods, which means it is as fresh as it could possibly be when it is on your plate.

The Duke are sourcing incredible meats from New Forest Family Butchers, which is situated in Romsey. New Forest Family Butchers is a traditional butchers on the edge of the New Forest, serving fine quality meats.

Hogget & Boar, in Stockbridge, is a first-class butchers who source all their produce from trusted farmers. They have a commitment to their green initiative and seek out high-welfare and sustainable produce.
