We found the room at The Plough most comfortable and very well decorated and equipped. Much attention had been taken with every detail and to make a stay there as pleasant as possible, and staff were very helpful. We also enjoyed a very good meal in the restaurant. From Scarborough Follow the A64 into Scarborough then the A171 towards Whitby. Follow the road and you will pass the hospital on your left, continue along the A171 into Newby and then Scalby. As you enter Scalby village over the bridge take the second left turn onto High Street, we are 85 yards on the left hand side. From Whitby Head along the A171 towards Scarborough once you reach Scalby village, take your third right hand turn onto High Street, we are 100 yards on the left hand side.
