By Car from London: Take the M40 north leaving at junction 8. Follow the A40 to Oxford and Burford. Turn right at the roundabout into Burford. At the bottom of the hill turn left onto the A24 – Stow Road. After about 8 miles turn left at the traffic lights onto the A429. in 1 mile turn right into the Slaughters, The Slaughters Country Inn is in the centre of the village just over the river on the left.

From North East & Midlands: Take the M40 south, leaving at junction 15. Follow the A429 south to Moreton-in-Marsh then Stow on the Wold. Approximately 3 miles after Stow, turn right onto the Slaughters, The Slaughters Country Inn is in the centre of the village just over the river on the left.

By Train: If you want to travel by train there is a direct service from London Paddington to Moreton-on-Marsh. From there you can catch a taxi or a Pulham bus to Bourton-on-the-Water. Lower Slaughter is approximately 1 mile north-east of Bourton. If you require a taxi, please do not hesitate to contact their reception team who will be happy to help.  

By Air: Their nearest airports are Bristol International and Birmingham, 100 miles from London Heathrow and 138 miles from London Gatwick. Should you require a taxi from the airport, please contact their reception team who can assist you with bookings.
