The prosperous town of Inverurie has a history spanning over a thousand years. Situated on the north bank of the River Don this town has a market place and within this is a small wooded park surrounding the war memorial. Also in the market place is the large Town Hall which was built in 1863. Good rail connections to Aberdeen and other major hubs.
