Originally the Old Mill was a working 18th century flour mill that was operational until just after WW1.
They had a stunning makeover in 2020 creating an oasis of riverside tranquillity in the heart of the New Forest not far from the town of Lymington with accessibility for all the attractions of the South Coast with walks, beaches, shopping and local attractions
With a river running through the extensive gardens, it is easy to find a spot for a quiet moment! With features throughout to combine the old with the new such as the working Water Wheel, you can enjoy a lovely meal with the gentle sound of water trickling through as it turns!

For history fans, you can explore the ruins of the 13th Century Beaulieu Abbey or be transported back to the 1700s at the maritime village of Buckler’s Hard – both less than 30 minutes from The Old Mill's door. Further afield, the cities of Salisbury and Winchester offer stunning Cathedrals and so much more.
There’s nothing more charming than the English seaside and there’s plenty of coastline to discover. From the beach huts on Mudeford Sands and the quay at Lymington, to yacht spotting at Hamble Point and Hythe Marina and taking a stroll along the sand in lively Bournemouth, there’s something for everyone.
