Hort's Townhouse is a Grade II listed townhouse on Broad Street in Bristol's Old City, originally a sales office belonging to the family of Sir Arthur Fenton Hort, converted to a cocktail bar in the 1920s before decades of other lives intervened. Young's restored it to something close to its original character: nineteen boutique bedrooms on the first and second floors, no two the same, designed around the building's tight, irregular spaces. Art deco details run throughout, with bold colours, geometric lighting, velvet upholstery and Bramley bath and body products. Lift access, dog-friendly rooms available, and central Bristol on the doorstep — St Nicholas Market, the Harbourside and independent shops all within easy reach.
